Tafari Thompson-Mintah: Second man charged with murder after teen dies in Orpington crash

A second man has been charged with murder after a 16-year-old boy was knocked off his moped.

Aaron Conway, 38, is the second person to be arrested and charged after Tafari Thompson-Mintah died in Orpington last Monday.

Previously, Joseph Barnes, 40, of no fixed address, was charged with murder on Saturday.

Both men are due to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court later today.

Tafari’s family have been made aware of the developments and are being supported by officers.

The youngster was riding a moped along Sevenoaks Way in St Paul's Cray when the incident happened at around 3.30pm last week.

Despite the efforts of emergency services, he died at the scene.
