A2 shut between Dover and Canterbury following lorry crash at Lydden

The A2 is closed following a crash involving two lorries.

Traffic is at a standstill on the dual carriageway between Dover and Canterbury as the HGVs are recovered and a large fuel spillage is cleared.

Motorists heading London bound are suffering long delays due to the accident near to the Lydden Hill race circuit junction.

Police and fire crews were called to the scene at about 11.30am and the clear-up operation is continuing.
