Bobby Clay claimed her third successive national title with victory in the English Schools Championships in Ilton, Somerset.

The 15-year-old (pictured) remains undefeated in all cross-county races this year after storming to victory in the intermediate class by 60m ahead of perennial runner-up Annabel Mason from Yorkshire, with sister Alex Clay (under-17) following them home.

The Wingham sisters also enjoyed success in the UK Inter-Counties Championships at Parliament Hill, Birmingham, the previous weekend.

Bobby was crowned under-15 national champion, finishing 120m clear of Mason.

Alex Clay claimed silver in the under-17 race, finishing 60m behind UK number one Jessica Judd.

The Clay sisters have been selected to represent English schools at the World Secondary Schools Championships in Malta on March 29.
