Woman attacked in Cossington Road, Canterbury, by 15-year-old boy

A manhunt has been launched after a woman was attacked by a 15-year-old boy.

The victim suffered bruising during the incident in Cossington Road, Canterbury.

It is understood the thug asked the woman for the time, which she provided, before slapping her leg as she started to walk away.

A police spokesman said: "The suspect was described as around 15 years old, and was wearing navy clothing including shorts, a cap and a zip-up jacket.

"The woman sustained bruising as a result of the incident."

Detectives say the attack took place between 5pm and 5.30pm on Saturday, August 6.

They are urging anyone with information or private CCTV footage to call them on 01843 222289, quoting the reference number 46/152763/22.
