Canterbury drew 2-2 at Hampstead and Westminster in the England Hockey League Men’s Premier Division on Saturday.

All four goals came in the second half, with Michael Farrer and Tom Butt scoring for the second successive week.

Both teams traded penalty corners, with Ian Roberts putting the London club ahead 13 minutes after the interval, but Farrer equalised three minutes later.

Butt made it 2-1 on the hour, only for Andrew Smith to score Hampstead’s second 60 seconds later.

Canterbury Ladies suffered a disappointing 2-0 home defeat in the Women's Premier Division against Slough at Polo Farm.

The visitors scored once in each half through Lauren Penny after 15 minutes and Chloe Strong added the second on the hour.

The home side created few clear-cut chances with South African international Jen Wilson having two efforts blocked.
