Car hits telegraph pole and house in Broad Street, Canterbury

A road was left partially blocked in both directions after a car hit a telegraph pole and a house.

Police were called to Broad Street in Canterbury following the accident near the city's magistrates' court at 11.50am.

The vehicle came to rest on the pavement against the pole.

Damage to the house is believed to be minimal.

The driver is not thought to have been badly injured, but an ambulance was called to the scene.
