Police appeal for help after alleged robbery attempt in disabled car park in Canterbury

Police investigating an attempted robbery in a disabled car park have released CCTV of two people wanted in connection with the incident.

Officers are looking into reports two people tried to steal from a man in Orange Street car park off Best Lane in Canterbury.

The alleged incident took place shortly after 11am on Thursday, February 8.

A police spokesman said: “A man was approached by two people in Orange Street car park who attempted to steal items from his pockets after distracting him.

“The man challenged them and they left the scene empty-handed.”

Officers have now released images of two people they would like to identify.
