England supporters can soak up the Euro 2016 atmosphere at a special fanzone in Canterbury city centre.

A giant 15ft screen will beam Three Lions matches to hundreds of fans at the Westgate Hall, with organisers installing a custom-built bar described as “the largest in the city”.

Events company Student Republic, which hosts the City Sound Project, has secured the venue for England’s three group games and any knockout rounds.

A token system will be used to buy drinks to ensure a "super-fast service".

Fans feeling peckish can call also pick up some gourmet street food from vans outside the venue.

England’s first match is against Russia at 8pm on Saturday, June 11.

They then face Wales at 2pm on Thursday, June, 16, before taking on Slovakia at 8pm on Monday, June 20.
