Emergency services called to scene of crash on A28 at Upstreet

Emergency services including the air ambulance have attended a road accident involving a campervan on the A28 at Upstreet.

It happened shortly before 10am in Island Road and involved a Talbot camper which is thought to have left the road and hit a post.

A man was treated at the scene by paramedics but the road remained open, with officers directing traffic.

Delays had cleared by 2pm.
