Crews were called to a grass fire the size of three football pitches after it broke out yesterday evening.

Three hectares of undergrowth went up in flames in Littlebourne Road, Canterbury at 6.45pm.

Two fire engines were used to put out the blaze, alongside an all-terrain vehicle.

Firefighters left the scene shortly after 9pm.
