Dean given Freedom to drive sheep through city

DRIVING sheep through the city, opening any window without permission and being able to speak without fear of being told to shut up are some of the ancient rights Robert Willis is now able to exercise.

Mr Willis, the Dean of Canterbury Cathedral, was awarded the Freedom of the City during a ceremony at the Guildhall.

Other Freemen of the city include Prince Charles, former Archbishop Lord Carey, and Terry Waite.
