Man arrested on suspicion of drink driving after crash in field in Kingston

A man who fled his car after crashing in a field has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving.

Police were called at 11.22pm last night after a vehicle overturned into a field off Bonny Bush Hill, Kingston, near Canterbury.

The suspect fled across some fields but was found a short time later.

Officers attended and arrested a 27-year-old man from Ashford.

He was taken to hospital as a precaution before being taken into custody.
