Whitstable slipped back into the bottom two in Ryman League Division 1 South after losing 3-1 at Eastbourne Town on Saturday.
The first half was evenly contested and finished goalless, with neither goalkeeper having a serious save to make.
Eastbourne took the lead nine minutes into the second half through a header by Charlie Francis, and then captain Danny Simmons doubled their lead with a superb 76th-minute volley.
The game was all over when Francis added his second seven minutes from time, even though Dan Dolton curled home a free-kick for Whitstable two minutes later.
