Emergency crews descend on Canterbury Asda

A woman has died after emergency services were called to a spot near a supermarket.

The fire brigade, police and paramedics were called to the scene near Asda in Sturry Road, Canterbury, at around 10.30am.

A woman in her 20s could not be saved. The circumstances of her death are being investigated by police.

Fire crews confirmed they were called to the supermarket at around 10.40am, but had left at 11.05am.

Just hours earlier, emergency crews were called to another death on the other side of Canterbury.
