TWO female students have been injured in attacks by a gang of teenage girls in Canterbury.

The assaults took place in Westgate Court Avenue. Three teenage girls, aged between 13 and 15-years-old, started shouting and throwing tin cans at the students as they walked towards The Monument public house with friends.

One of the students was then punched causing bruises to her face. When one of the students, who are both aged 20, later left the pub she was also hit in the face, causing a split lip.

The girl who punched the first student is described as a white, female probably aged 14 or 15, 5ft 3 tall, with a long blonde ponytail.
