Woman rescued from car wreck after three-vehicle crash in Island Road Sturry

Firefighters rescued a woman trapped in her car after a three-vehicle crash.

Crews were called to Island Road in Sturry near Canterbury at around 2pm.

Four fire engines attended and firefighters used hydraulic rescue equipment to cut away at one car, freeing a woman stuck inside.

She was then handed into the care of SECAmb paramedics.
