A SPECTACULAR array of the finest Kentish and European food and drink is coming to Canterbury on Friday (September 26).

The city’s annual Eurofair, held in association with the Kent Food and Drink Festival for the first time, is taking place in the Dane John Gardens from Friday to Sunday.

Traditionally it has been held at the end of November, but organisers Canterbury City Council and Produced in Kent decided to move it to a more weather-friendly time of year.

A huge array of stalls, including up to 30 local companies from Produced in Kent, will be presenting a wide range of food and drink, while across the city centre, restaurants and businesses will have special offers and menus with a Eurofair theme.

There will also be food demonstration areas and tastings, plus plenty of music and entertainment over the three days, including an 11-piece strolling brass band.

The stalls in the Dane John are open from 10am to 5pm on Friday and Saturday, and from 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
