Kent's Adam Ball and Daniel Bell-Drummond enjoyed mixed fortunes for England under-19s in the concluding two matches of the one-day series against South Africa played at Canterbury.

Bell-Drummond top scored with 54 (96 balls) in England's total of 204 all out from 48.4 overs on Saturday, but South Africa won the match by four wickets to secure a 4-2 series win.

Ball, captaining the England side, made six coming in at No.8 and then took 0-27 from seven overs in South Africa's 205-6.

In the penultimate game, played two days earlier, Ball was out first ball coming in at No.5 and Bell Drummond made eight as England edged past South Africa's 177 all out to win by two wickets. Ball took 2-36 from his nine-over stint.
