A motorist was caught by police doing more than 100mph on the M2 today.

Kent Police RPU tweeted: "This driver was caught by one of our unmarked cars at an average of 107mph! Shockingly he was doing this whilst also undertaking several cars. He will be rewarded with a day in court and potentially losing his driving licence."

It comes as drivers were instructed today to use the M2 as a diversion while work to replace a bridge over the M20 is carried out.
