The victim, aged in his 40s, suffered an injury to his back when he was attacked with a blade near Canterbury East railway station just after 9am yesterday.
It is understood the incident happened on the bridge that connects the station to the Dane John Garden, providing a quick route into the city.

Anthony Angelo Delle Tenebre, of no fixed address, was later arrested and has since been charged with causing grievous bodily harm and possession of a knife.
