Man seriously injured after 'assault' in Canterbury High Street

A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after he was reportedly assaulted in the early hours.

Police were called to Canterbury High Street, near the junction with Guildhall Street, today at 1am.

The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police have arrested two men in their 20s on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and they remain in custody.
