Man in hospital with head injury following disturbance in Orange Street, Canterbury

Police have made two arrests after a man was left with serious head injuries following an attack outside a pub in Canterbury.

The disturbance happened at around 7.40pm on Saturday outside the Seven Stars Inn in Orange Street.

During the incident, a man in his 30s was reportedly attacked by two unknown men.

He sustained a serious head injury and was taken to a London hospital where he remains.

This morning, a 30-year-old man and 27-year-old man, both from the Canterbury area, were arrested on suspicion of assault and taken into custody.

Officers are still keen to speak with witnesses who are yet to make a report and would also like any video which captures the incident to be sent straight to them.
