A 4ft tall man who dresses up as an old lady and pesters young women is back on Canterbury’s streets.

Paul Reed, 47, was released by a judge at the city’s crown court having spent 138 days in prison.

Reed, of Lancaster Road, Wincheap, had earlier admitted three counts of breaching a sexual offences order which banned him from wearing women’s clothing.

After the hearing, Reed said his life and work and his family’s lives had been ruined by the court proceedings.

“I’m an easy target for the police and for newspapers,” he added.

Judge Adele Williams ordered Reed to do 36 months community supervision which includes a sex offenders programme.
