A motorist has been cut free from a car following a serious collision in Upstreet.
Emergency services were called to Island Road at around 8.11am after a car collided with a commercial vehicle.
Fire fighters used hydraulic equipment to free the casualty and they were taken to hospital by road.
The road is currently closed causing delays.
