SINGING sensation and surprise act at Lounge on the Farm, Charlotte Church, has pulled out of this year’s festival.

The Welsh warbler was due to perform at Merton Farm this afternoon.

But a statement from festival organisers announced the TV personality would not be performing after all.

It read: "Unfortunately we are sad to say that Charlotte Church has cancelled and will no longer be singing this afternoon."

No further explanation was given, but her appearance had been a surprise addition to the line up.

The platinum selling global superstar was due to appear at the Farmhouse Restaurant stage in the Meadows Area at the event.
