Ambulance crews attended a road collision between two cars this afternoon which left an 18-year-old man with cuts to his head.

The cars collided in Canterbury Road, Herne Bay, at 3pm. Officers are still at the scene waiting for the vehicles to be removed.

An 18-year-old man driving a silver Peugeot received a gash to his head while a woman driving the other car also sustained injuries.

An ambulance crew attended to both drivers at the scene but it is not known whether they were taken to hospital.

Police spokesman Jane Walker said neither driver was seriously injured.
