See GP advice after blood pressure checks

Eight people have been adviced to see their GP immediately after blood pressure checks organised by Canterbury Rotary Club.

Almost 300 people had their blood pressure checked on Saturday in Canterbury’s Boots store.

Of those, eight were advised to go to their GP immediately because their blood pressure was so high.

Another 60 were recommended to see their doctor within a fortnight.

The checks were done as part of Stroke Awareness Week.
