A man accused of child sex offences asked to be remanded in custody following his admissions at Canterbury Crown Court.

Kevin Gower, 50, of Querns Road, Canterbury, admitted three charges of sexual assault, inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child.

His lawyer, Deborah Charles, did not apply for bail saying Gower asked to be remanded in custody pending sentence.

He will be sentenced in October.
