Students in a Wall Street dash

SIXTH Form Business Studies students are getting into the State-side spirit before jetting off to New York next Monday to see how one of the world’s most important financial hubs operates.

Twenty-one students from years 12 and 13 of the St Anselm’s Catholic Secondary School in Canterbury will be accompanied by Head of Business Studies Alex Kay on the five-day visit.

Mr Kay said: “It’s really to experience how business operates abroad, giving the students a worldwide global experience of business practice, marketing and economic markets.

“They are really excited as some have never even been abroad before.

The students will visit Wall Street, The New York Stock Exchange, but will also have time for some of the Big Apple’s more familiar tourist attractions, including the Statue of Liberty and The Empire State Building.
