University of Kent experts slam theatre reopening guidelines

Government advice on theatres' reopening is too vague, and could see some locations close, according to an expert.

Dermot O'Brien, a senior lecturer from the School of Arts a the University of Kent wants more advice on how and when playhouses can welcome audiences back.

Ollie Collins reports

He fears that sites could be closed past pantomime period, a time which is often most lucrative for theatres.

Mr O'Brien spoke to KMTV about what is needed to help theatres get open and stay operational.
