Three arrests after man injured in Canterbury assault

Three people have been arrested after an attack that left a man needing hospital treatment.

Police were called to Tunstall Road in Canterbury to a report an assault was in progress.

Damage had also been caused to the windows of a property in the same residential street.

The victim, aged in his 40s, had sustained injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Three people from Canterbury - a 46-year-old woman and two men aged 51 and 41 - were arrested on suspicion of assault and remain under investigation.

All parties are understood to be known to each other.

Detectives investigating the incident, which happened shortly before 5.30pm last Thursday (February 10), are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
