Scene of the crash on the Thanet Way this morning

A two-vehicle crash has been causing tailbacks on the Thanet Way this morning.

A lorry and a people carrier were travelling on the coastbound carriageway when they collided at just after 8am.

The rush-hour crash happened just after Brenley Corner near Faversham.

Police and ambulance crews were called to the scene, but there were no serious injuries.

The road was not closed, but commuters were left facing delays.
