Woman cut from car in A2 crash at Lydden

A woman was taken to hospital after being cut free from her car by firefighters.

Emergency services, including three fire engines, were called to the incident on the coastbound stretch of the A2 just outside Canterbury at 6.30am this morning.

One vehicle was involved in the accident near the turn-off for Lydden.

Crews left the scene after securing the vehicle.
