Defending champions Rising Sun once again showed their mettle when they came from behind to beat Field 2-1 in the Herne Bay and Whitstable Sunday League, sponsored by Blatch and Green.

Field started the Premier Division clash looking the sharper side, and they were rewarded for their persistence midway through the first half when Adam Oxberry put them one up.

During the second half the Field defence took a battering but they managed to hold on until midway through when Lee Austin brought Sun level.

Both sides then created chances but it looked as if the points would be shared until Austin grabbed his second late on to take Riser to the top of the table.
