Kent opener Zak Crawley no match for Australia's bowling attack as England lose third Test and the Ashes in Melbourne

Zak Crawley was twice out cheaply as England lost the Ashes to Australia in Melbourne.

England were thrashed by an innings and 14 runs on the morning of the third day of the third Test to give Australia an unassailable 3-0 lead in the series.

Kent's Crawley was restored to the side for his first Test match since facing India in August.

Opener Crawley made just 12 in the first innings before he edged Australia captain Pat Cummins to Cameron Green at gully.

He went for just five in the second innings, edging Mitchell Starc behind to keeper Alex Carey.

The fourth Test is due to begin in Sydney on January 4.
