THE England cricket squad picked for the NatWest Challenge and NatWest Series, the one-dayers being played between June 17 and July 14, contains six players who have never played a one-day international - including Kent's Rob Key.

The 24-year-old, who can either open or perform in the middle order, says he is "surprised but delighted" to be chosen.

The other newcomers are Kabir Ali, Rikki Clarke, Anthony McGrath, Richard Johnson and Jamie Troughton.
