Arrest as police called to fast food restaurant in Northend Road, Erith after reports of sexual assault

Police were called to a fast food restaurant after reports a boy had been sexually assaulted.

Officers were called to Northend Road in Erith, just before 1pm yesterday afternoon.

A 20-year-old man has been arrested and taken to a police station for further questioning.

The Met Police said: "Police in Bexley were called to a fast-food restaurant in Northend Road, Erith at 12:58hrs on Monday, 13 February following reports of a sexual assault.

"Officers attended and have taken a report of a boy being sexually assaulted.

"A 20-year-old man has been arrested in connection with this incident and taken to a south London police station for questioning."

Enquiries are ongoing.
