A festival dedicated entirely to the love of drinking gin is to embrace a local shopping centre.

Bluewater shopping centre in Dartford has teamed up with The Gin Lounge to host a three day gin festival across the weekend from Friday 27 to 29 September.

Visitors will be able to sample over 50 gins from a range of distilleries including Chatham-based Copper Rivet at £5 a pop.

Entry comes with a free gin and tonic on entry, a gin festival booklet and a commemorative Glencairn Crystal glass to take home.

Award-winning mixologists will also be on hand in the marquee by the village to serve up cocktails from two bars while gin makers lead master classes in the distilling process.

Early bird tickets cost £5 with a limited number of tickets then available at £7.50, after which they will be on sale for £10 each.

Passes to the event are available to purchase online at ticketing site, Eventbrite.
