Car ends up on its side after two-vehicle crash in London Road, Swanley near Asda

A car ended up on its side after a crash on a busy town centre roundabout.

Emergency services were scrambled to London Road, Swanley, near the Asda car park.

Four fire engines were sent, alongside police who were called at around 3.30pm today.

Paramedics were also called.

An eyewitness told KentOnline the roundabout was partially closed with traffic being halted from St Mary’s Road and London Road.

They added that a woman was trapped in one of the cars.

A fire service spokesman said: “Crews helped one person from the car, who was passed into the care of SECAmb paramedics.”

They had left by 5.13pm.
