Drivers have been stuck in queues after a crash on the Essex side of the Dartford crossing.

Two lanes have been shut after the accident on the M25 anti-clockwise at J31 for the A1306 Arterial Road and the A282 for the Dartford Crossing.

Lanes three and four have been closed just after the exit from the tunnel, with all traffic passing in lanes one and two.

All traffic was held at the tolls until 7.15am, with intermittent lane closures in place at the tolls.

In Kent, the congestion stretches back to J2 for the A2 at the Darenth Interchange.
