Traffic collision causes delays on the M25 near Dartford

There are delays on the M25 clockwise near Dartford this morning after a crash between junctions 1A and 1B.

Highways England were joined on the A282 by police and ambulance services at 8.16am, with a collision between a lorry and a Ford Fiesta leaving three lanes blocked.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at 8.16am on 14 January following a collision involving two vehicles on the M25.

"The incident was on a slip road for the junction with the A2, from the clockwise direction. It involved a lorry and a Ford Fiesta.

"Secamb were called and there are not believed to any serious injuries."

One lane remains closed whilst the vehicles are recovered, but a Highways England spokesman said normal traffic conditions had resumed.
