Dartford boss Tony Burman says he is delighted with his summer's work so far, but is still targeting more new arrivals.

Burman has swooped to sign former Premier League defender Adam Green from Hayes & Yeading aswell as ex-Dover midfielder Jon Wallis already this summer.

He said: "I was looking to bring in three or maybe four this summer and I have two in and am happy with the way things have gone.

"We’re looking good, but I’d still like maybe one or two more."

Burman (pictured) says he is happy to play ‘cat and mouse’ with other potential summer signings for now and says he has no problems with switching his attention to other targets if players drag their feet.

He said: "We have to leave it open for now. The players are doing their talking and I understand that.

"It’s a game of cat and mouse but I’m not rushing.

"It’s fair to say that the longer time goes on, the stronger the clubs’ hands get.

"I have spoken to players over the weekend and have made offers. We make the best offer we can but if it goes on too long, then we’ll move on."
