The group which has taken over healthcare in Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley has arranged its first public meeting.

The governing body of NHS Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley Clinical Commissioning Group will meet from 1pm on Tuesday, April 30, at Presidents Suite, White Oak Indoor Bowls Centre, Garrolds Close, Swanley.

It offers the first opportunity for people to hear about the plans of the group, which is now responsible for buying most healthcare for the 249,000 people who live in the area.

Clinical chair Dr Bhaskar Bora said: “The CCG has a number of local challenges and has drawn up a list of priorities including tackling long-term conditions like diabetes, improving mental health and reducing health inequalities.

“We’re keen for the public to work with us, and the meetings are a good place to find out what is going on.”

The board papers for this and future meetings will be available on the CCG’s website at www.dartfordgraveshamswanleyccg.nhs.uk
