The crash happened just before the exit slip at junction two for the Darenth Interchange headed towards the A2.

All lanes have since reopened.

Elsewhere, an exit slip road on the clockwise carriageway is partially blocked due to a broken down car at junction three for the Swanley Interchange.

There are also reports of an earlier vehicle fire close to the junction with the M20.

Both police and fire crews have been approached for more information.
