Arrests after motorbikes stolen in Dartford, Gravesend, Medway and Bexley and drugs seized

Five people were arrested this morning in connection to a spate of motorbike thefts in Dartford, Gravesend, Medway and Bexley.

Bikes were stolen this month and last and Kent Police teamed up with the Metropolitan Police to raid several properties in Dartford.

Homes in Elm Road, Gordon Road and Radzan Close were searched and a number of drugs were seized as well as five people being arrested.

A 16-year-old boy from Dartford was arrested on suspicion of stealing three motorbikes from Strood, Greenhithe and Dartford in February and March. He was also arrested on suspicion of possessing cannabis with intent to supply.

A 27-year-old man from Dartford was arrested on suspicion of possessing cannabis with intent to supply.

A 38-year-old woman was arrested and bailed until March 15 for possessing cannabis with intent to supply.

An 18-year-old man from Dartford was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motorbike in Greenhithe and possessing Class A and B drugs with intent to supply.

A 57-year-old man was arrested for possessing a controlled substance with intent to supply.

The suspects who haven't been bailed are still in custody.
