The 29-year-old is alleged to have been driving on the B2173 in the town when police pulled over his Mercedes.

He appeared at Sevenoaks Magistrates' Court to answer charges to two drug driving offences and entered two not guilty pleas.

Prosecutors claim Fincham returned a blood test of 239 micrograms of benzoylecgonine – the chemical compound produced by cocaine.

They also allege the former winner of the ITV series had 632 micrograms of diazepam – more commonly known and branded as valium and used to treat insomnia.

Fincham, who was in the villa in 2018, won the show with Dani Dyer but the pair split shortly after.
