Car found alight in Keary Road, Swanscombe in busy shift for Dartford fire crews

Firefighters were called out in the early hours to a car ablaze in a residential street.

Crew members from Dartford Fire Station attended the vehicle fire in Keary Road, Swanscombe, near Manor Community Primary School at 3am.

One fire engine was deployed and firefighters used pressure jets to douse the flames.

The incident took around 30 minutes to clear.

No injuries were reported and the incident is being treated as suspicious.

It was the second vehicle fire the Dartford crew attended on the night following an earlier call out to a tractor blaze in farmlands in Crockenhill, near Swanley.
