Fire crews were called after a blaze broke out in a woodland area of Dartford.
An area of vegetation was found alight around 4.30pm yesterday near Summerhouse Drive and Joydens Wood.
Two fire engines were sent to the incident and firefighters arrived to an area of woodland and a number of tree stumps on fire.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet, along with a fogging unit, to extinguish the flames.
The incident was cleared around an hour later and the cause is believed to be accidental.
No casualties were reported.
