Firefighters are dealing with a small chemical spill from a tanker on the A282 at the Dartford Crossing.

They were called at about 8am today after nitrous acid spilled onto the carriageway near the tolls.

Four fire engines and specialist equipment have been on the scene from Kent, with back-up from Essex.

It's understood the leak has been stopped and crews are working to clean the road.
