Goalkeeper Louis Wells will return to the Dartford starting line-up this weekend for the FA Cup tie at Forest Green after two months on the sidelines.

Marcus Bettinelli, who has deputised for Wells, is not allowed to play in FA Cup games and his loan spell from Fulham expires on Saturday.

Wells, pictured, has not played since he injured himself in the 1-0 defeat at Woking on August 14. However, boss Tony Burman hinted he may try to extend Bettinelli’s stay at Princes Park, with the 20-year-old having conceded just 14 goals in his 13 appearances for the club.

Burman said: "Marcus is not allowed to play in FA Cup games and his agreement is up on Saturday but I’m not ruling out anything at the moment.

"We’ve got to see how Louis comes through the game in the FA Cup and then we’ll see what happens.

"Bettinelli has done brilliantly for us but until Louis got injured, he was playing exceptionally well himself. Marcus has been great cover and you never say never in football."
